Bad memories

 I was scrolling through my local library's catalogue when I was suddenly reminded of my ex boyfriend's English presentation on Osamu Dazai's 'No Longer Human'. When I tell you this was the shallowest, most flippant personal review of this very nuanced book- He kept laughing the entire time and couldn't give a single meaningful impact the book left on him. The only thing I can remember is something to do with rice? And how that resonated with him because he's Korean and also eats rice 🤦 God why did I date that asshole
