My history teacher might've been a danmei fan???

 Okay so I was suddenly struck with a memory of my old history teacher whilst scrolling through twitter. For context, my history teacher is one of two real life queer role models I had growing up; She was openly into kpop and had pride flags all over her folders and lanyard. We had discussion one time about how parents react towards their child's queerness and she told me about how she had a rough time explaining asexuality to her parents. That's not super relevant, but I mention this so you have an idea of who she was. We were discussing dramas we had watched, and I mentioned that I had started watching The Untamed (the liveaction CDrama) and she perked up and said she had watched it plus some of the extras and I thought that was cool because I didn't know many non-Chinese people that watched Chinese stuff. But I wasn't familiar with danmei at that point (I was neck-deep in Thai BLs at that point) and didn't think much of it.  

Cue 10 minutes ago, record scratch in my head. Wait a goddamn minute, was she also into danmei?? We'll never know because I'm pretty sure she doesn't work at my old school anymore and I'm not about to hunt her down just to ask, but it's fun addition to a memory now.
